These are memories of fun and laughter. If you'd like to join the party, keep an eye on the ever changing schedule to see when Sherri will be in your neck of the woods.

If you have pictures from any Sherri event and would like to have them added, please email me (Carl) or leave a note for me on the Message Board.

The largest signing as of 10/20/06 was in St. Louis where Sherri greeted 742 fans and signed over 4,000 books. The very next day, she had another signing only twenty minutes away where another 104 fans showed up.

Factoid: Sherri was a latchkey kid who was responsible for getting herself and her baby brother and older sister who has cerebral palsy off to school everyday. She would come home every afternoon to an empty house where she'd write about vampires, zombies and ghouls.

Her favorite story is of the time her mother took her to see the Exorcist (she was 7 years old) and they didn't want to let her into the theater because it was so scary. Her mother scoffed at the clerk. "She'll be fine. I'm the one who's going to be scared."

She credits her mother's love of horror films and literature with her own fascination with the macabre. "I knew I was bound to write this genre when I was in third grade and my mother banned me from reading any more books on demonology. 'Sherri,' she said, 'I can handle all the other weird stuff you read, but could you at least wait until you're ten to read about demons?'"

My sweet honey, Ken
(doesn't he look like the guy on the cover of A Pirate of Her Own?)

Hey, Mom? Do I got enough money for this? He's my favorite toy, and he doesn't even need batteries!

Me & Boo

Me and my older brother, Buddy, the
greatest hero and champion of my life.
I miss you, big brother.

My baby brother, the joker of my life.
Shown here as the Feature Winner
at one of his races. Thanks for all the
laughs, little guy. And CONGRATS on the
championship. BTW, I tried to take one of
his trophies to show to a friend. His
response, "No, man, my luck the plane'll
go down and I'll lose it forever." Never mind
the fact, I might go down in the plane ;)
Like I said, he's a joker.

And because he complained about the above
pic, here's one of my favorites of
him- In addition to racing like the wind
he's in the band War Child and plays the
h**l out of a guitar.

And these are two of my favorite pix from my childhood
(and I want my brother to know that it was HARD not to
put up one of the pix of him when he was posing
and I know, you know the pix I mean :)

Brant bossing me around as usual.

Part of the guys I was raised with and my cousin Laura.
I'm the one with all the sand. I still don't share well.
