Sherri writes an average of 20-30 pages a day, but she doesn't always write every single day. She can finish a novel in as little as two weeks if she's able to stay in her zone.

Acheron takes his name from the river of woe in the Underworld. It is this river that Charon ferries the dead across and not Styx as is commonly believed.

Factoid: The idea of making the Dark-Hunters based on Greek mythology has to do with a story Sherri was writing for The Colonnade newspaper (Georgia College in Milledgeville, GA) for Halloween. In it, she was talking about the origins of many Halloween monsters and as she researched vampirism, she realized that the oldest tales for it went back to ancient Greece. In that instant, she remembered that Apollo was the god of the sun and of plagues and that Artemis, his twin sister, was the goddess of the moon. The entire concept of Dark-Hunter was born and it would be forever tied to ancient Greece.
