Colton is one of the more powerful modern Sentinels. Unlike many of his brethren, he doesn't have an ax to grind with the Katagaria. In fact, he owes his life to a filos of them.

His mother escaped a Slayer attack, and was taken in by a Katagaria family. After her death, they raised him as their own and he has never forgotten what he owes them. However, it doesn't detract him from his Sentinel duties.

Still, it is a constant tug of war with him, one he hopes won't one day result in him having to kill they very people he owes his life to.
