Sherrilyn always says that she
has the best fans in the world. They are supportive of each other and
will go out of their way to help. When St Martins released a free
booklet that wasn't available outside the US, US fans ran to bookstores
and mailed them to other readers all over the world.

Many fans show up to
signings and events dressed as the characters. In 2006 there were
several characters registered to attend DragonCon, including Apollymi,
SImi and Acheron.

Factoid:
Absolute pandemonium broke out over the
free booklet. Fans assailed bookstores trying to find it and Sherri and
her publisher were blitzed with calls and emails about it. Many zealous
fans drove hours to get one, while Canadian fans drove down to the US.

There are a lot of
places to go and mingle with Sherri/Kinley's fans. To make it easy,
here's a list. And don't forget to visit the Message Board where
Sherri often stops in to chat-- As does many of her characters. The
Dark-Hunter web site set a new standard for author sites. Sherrilyn was
the first author to have character profiles, a blog, regular chats, a
message board and Q&A with her characters. She was also the first
author to offer book related merchandise to her fans via the web.
