As the Crown Princess of All Elfin, Nemani, or Mist, as she prefers her friends to call her, is next in line for the throne of Elfin . She came to the Mortal Realm looking for something new and different.

She found the Dark Hunters. She also found the Ladies of Sanctuary. They became friends. Then she met Val. Gaius Valerius Julius Gracchus, Commander of Rome. After a time, he honored her by requesting she become his Lady Squire. Her duties not forgotten, she continues to serve Elfin as its Crown Princess, but spends much time with her Mortal friends; and Val, of course.

Nemani Miyami Aurae means Mist on the Waters of Dawn, the loveliest spot in All Elfin. It is here, in Kalainah Aurae, the Valley of Dawn, that the Princess and her beloved reside. Here also is where the Princess raises her darling dragons and keeps the best stable of racing griffins in All Elfin. Home is an old-fashioned Victorian country mansion, situated at the head of the Valley, its multiple porches and many large windows affording marvelous views.

Because Elfin's sun is not Earth's and cannot harm a Hunter,
Val may live and walk freely in the light of Elfin's day.
