Like Emrys before him, Balyn is demonspawn and that evil part of him is constantly getting in his way. Conflicted by his two halves, Balyn himself isn't always sure which side he'll fight for. Evil is seductive, but so long as he holds goodness in his heart, there is hope for him. But that hope dwindles daily.
