A rather sarcastic mandrake, Blaise was abandoned by his family shortly after birth. He grew up completely ostracized by the world of man and the world of dragons. There are those who claim he was taken in and raised by King Arthur's Merlin, but no one knows for certain and Blaise refuses to speak of his past. 

He is the closest thing to a friend that Kerrigan has ever known. But no one, not even Kerrigan is sure of his real loyalties. Enigmatic and dangerous, Blaise is not a mandrake to be crossed lightly. He has no use for people in general, and those with magic should really avoid him if they want to live.
