The son of Margause and Lot, Gawain is brother to Agravain, Gaheris and Gareth. A lady's man, Gawain is full of charm and loves to woo those of the fairer sex. He was loyal to his Uncle Arthur, but his hatred of Lancelot is part of what allowed Morgen to poison the king's mind. Arthur believed in Gawain and Gawain believed in Morgen. To this day, Gawain regrets his foolishness. He is tormented by his past and seeks only to make amends for his crimes.

He, along with Agravain, are now the guardians of the Penmerlin. They will gladly lay down their lives to keep her safe.
