More tempting than sin itself, no one is quite sure of Varian's parentage. Many believe his father was a Druid who was seduced by an Adoni lover-- it would explain his ethereal beauty and his seductive ways. He moves with a predatorial grace and is faster than lightning. The only problem is, we're not really sure whose side he's on. There's something insidiously dark inside him that causes the other Lords to mistrust him.   

Like Troy, many believe him to be demonspawn. Unrepentant and irreverent, he takes joy in irritating his brethren. He prefers solitude and has an understanding of magic that is truly frightening.
