"Sure to entertain," Publisher's Weekly

Here's where I get to tell everyone a little about myself.  For starters, I make my home in Nashville, TN and like most writers, I have another life where I'm a professional Web Developer. I started on the internet when I worked for the Army in 1984. I surfed gopher space, worked with VAX notes,  and ordered products from the internet as early as 1994.  It was also in 1994 that I started designing home pages. Nowadays, I use Java, Cold Fusion, ASP and a thousand other tools to design sites for corporations. My list of sites is extremely comprehensive. I've done everything from lawyers to doctors to hospitals to legislators to retailers.  You name it. I've worked for several ISP's (hey, they keep merging & name-changing), both those that were established and those that were just getting started.

I'm also a Certified Internet/Computer Trainer with 5 years of training experience. In conjunction with my training, I was also a college instructor for 6 years. I've taught everything from Fiction Writing for Publication to History of the Western World and Medieval Civilization (the benefits of having a duel major).

My writing has always been a large part of my life. In the mid-1980's, I was a science fiction editor for a small press magazine. I worked for a time writing news for television and radio, as well as doing copy-writing for a large advertising agency in Atlanta. I even managed to write and produce music videos for local Atlanta bands.

My belief in life is a simple one: the only constant in life is change. For that reason, I'm always trying to learn something new--to expand my mind and my skills.  When I breathe my last breath, I don't want anyone to say I was one-sided or close-minded, or that I ever shirked from a challenge. For that reason, I make my way through this journey with a smile on my face while I make time for my family and friends.  And should we ever meet in the flesh, please take a minute to introduce yourself. As my mother always says, I've never met a stranger, and it would be an honor to shake your hand.

Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you come back again soon.
