I'm the lunatic who got drafted
into being the director of this pseudo-agency. Who knew when they
named us BAD it would be more than an agency nickname? It would become
indicative of the very nature of our agents. But then when you recruit
"orphans" who are willing to lie, cheat, steal, kill, die
and break every law and moral code known to protect their country,
you're not exactly getting quality people-- then again, maybe you are.
"Quality" is always a matter of debate.
Of course, I did try to follow the
examples of other agencies. But the first batch of recruits were so
by-the-book (and hence got into more trouble than even I could pull
them out of), that I quickly learned the error of my ways and revamped
the criteria of what we were looking for.
Hence the new breed of BAD agents
who are as bad as the criminals we track. And we like it that way.
At the end of the day, I am the man
they answer to.
Who am I?

(It really is my name--it even says it on the door)

BTW, I'm not your average
"Joe."
I'm as surly and ill-fitting as the rest
of the crew. It's why I was "chosen" for this.
